CNY Trip - Legend of the Seas - Day 4

Day 4 - Phuket, Thailand(0700 - 1930)

A long waiting day! After 19 hours sailing from Langakwi, we are here in Patong Beach, Phuket. Because the ship is huge, and it can't disembark at port, so LOS has prepared the lifeboats to send us to the dock, it's just taking few minutes from the ship. We woke up early that day, just want to be there early, but it's not a good decision to leave the ship so early, as most of the shop is not open yet. :(

We then walked along the Patong Beach, chartered a Tuk Tuk for THB400 to bring us around. Knew that the Phi Phi Island is famous, but we not going there, as the charges is so expensive. Thought to go for the cheap one, but it's expensive too. Entrance fees for Zoo is THB500/person. I rather use the money to pamper myself with massage.

The tuk tuk driver cum travel guide brought us to a temple, which is free of charge (FOC), can't remember what's the name. After that we asked him to send us to souvenir shop, as Phin Phin want to buy some souvenirs for his superior and colleagues. Since we got no place to go, we asked the driver to drop us at the nearest shopping mall. And here we saw many elephant statue, with different painting. The popular Angry Bird was one of it!!

And for sure we won't missed out the instant food from 7-11, it's so tasty and cheap. And here, I found another soya milk, Lactasoy, as good as Vitasoy. After filling up our tummy, we starts to walk inside and outside the shopping mall. Things sell in Phuket is not as cheap as Bangkok, that's why I love Bangkok so much~

After few hours walking, we go for massage, 1 hour foot massage and 1 hour body massage. 2 hours massage only cost of THB400/person. Confirmed that we can't get this price in KL. And we thought to have a nap during our massage, but who knows, there are renovation on-going just beside the shop. WTF, damn spoil my mood.

7-11 Packed Food and Lactasoy

I loves Thailand, not just because of the massage, it's their food as well, my favorite Tom Yam. This restaurant somewhere nearby Patong Beach, "EuroThai Restaurant" has the great Tom Yam, which it's taste is just nice, not too spicy. And the perfect match with Tom Yam is coconut. Super cooling after having my Tom Yam Seafood Noodle.

Time flies, it's time to get back to the ship. While walking back, we saw this, it's pancake, but this is not the one we have in Bangkok. During our last trip to Bangkok, Pui Kuan has recommended us a pancake, the topping for that is condensed milk, and I prefer that rather than this.

Along the Patong Beach, there are countless beach umbrellas. When looked it, is beautiful, the whole beach side, with the endless colorful beach umbrella. This beach is really nice, no wonder it has attracted many tourists to visit here.

As we are the second seating guests for dinner, we have to get back early, at around 5 o'clock, we already on board. We prepared ourselves to go for the show, before the show, we walked around the ship and saw the crews is lifting up the lifeboat back to the ship. They have to do the clean up before the boat back in place, is to avoid the salt water damage the floor.

Today's show presents "Dynamic Piano Entertainer by Bernard Walz", quite good, but not suit us. After the show, we then go for our dinner. Seems like they have make some adjustment of the taste, it's not as salty as previous day. By the way, I preferred their desserts, and today I have ordered 3 types of desserts. Yummy!~

After our dinner, we go to poolside for party with the liveband. It's DANCING night. At first, I'm shy to join in, but slowly get into the atmosphere, dance with the crews and others. Besides dancing, there is a poolside buffet for all the guests. All foods look yummylicious, but we are so full to have it.

It's a great day to have a my massage and Tom Yam. AND dancing cheered-up my nights!

旧古仔的重庆鸡公煲

“重庆鸡公煲” - 一间很好吃的店，就在Kuchai Lama。虽然吃过很多遍了，但是还会再去吃，因为太好吃了，难以忘记的味道，辣得妙~

前几次去都很多人，这次也不例外，但是我们很幸运，去到就有位子了。

每次都是我和彬彬两个人，想要点多一款都不行，因为怕吃不完，分量还算蛮多的，小煲的就足够两个人的份了。这次我们还是选择了鸡-“鸡公煲”，本来打算点吃牛-“牛魔王”，但是不喜欢粒粒状，比较喜欢切片的，所以就吃鸡。由于我不怎么吃辣，就点了个小辣，彬彬就觉得还可以，而我就觉得很辣了。但是下次可以试试中辣，我看一定会辣到飞起来。


除了主角以外，还可以到特定的冰箱选择自己喜欢的蔬菜和配料，做涮涮乐。我就选了金针菇、腐竹、唯一面和黄芽白菜。不只这些哦，还可以选择鱼丸、蟹柳、猪肉丸、海鲜豆腐等等。鸡公煲的秘製汤实在太好吃了，加了配料，简直就是加分，而且味道越吃越浓哦。

下次我就不叫饭了，吃面，唯一面加汤，一流，好吃得不得了。赞赞赞！

CNY Trip - Legend of the Seas - Day 3

Day 3 - Langkawi, Malaysia (0900 - 1730)

Another 15 hours sailing, LOS arrived Langkawi. After having our breakfast, we disembarked to Langkawi at 11am. We went to the shop (T-Shoppe) to rent for a small car, a kancil. It's more enough to fit-in both of us, and the most important thing was, the price is cheap, RM56 for 5 hours rental and insurance. Then we have filling in RM15 petrol for this little kancil. Although we came here more than 3 times, but still not familiar with the road, and here, we have bought a map to bring us around.

Map on hand, our first stop, Langkawi Eagle Square, not even been here before, so this time ask Phin Phin to bring me here. At first, I thought this place will full of people, as it's one of the signature place of Langkawi, but when I was there, head count not more than 10 people, how sad to see this. Why not they do something to attract tourists to visit this place? What a worst, sigh! But we enjoyed with this place, because we having my beloved photo section of JUMPING. Check it out~

And our next stop, Langkawi Cable Car, just want to breathe some fresh air. It's easy to get down to the hanging bridge, but it's tiring when walking along the pathway back to the cable car station. For people who less exercise like me, really killing. It's freaking hot afternoon, so we not going up to the climax of the top station.

Then we go to the nearest supermarket to buy some snacks and sweets. Round-and-round, it's about to finish our 5 hours trip in Langkawi. Then we faster return the car to T-Shoppe and get back to the ship. Time is about 5 o'clock, another 3 hours to go before our dinner time, so we have some light meal at the Windjammer Restaurant.

Today, they have changed the show time, where the show will starts at 7.15pm for second seating guests*. Then we back to our cabin and take bath, prepare to go for the Magic Showtime, this starring The Comedy & Illusion of Master Magician - Duck Cameron. Quite interesting, where he asked some of the audience to join in his magic, and make some jokes to us.

After the show, we go for our dinner. Dinner for tonight is good, especially the dessert, love it so much, it's so delicious. Just that I'm full, or else I'll order one more to fill up my temptation. Thumb up the chef!

And something made our ladies fo wild for the night, which is the party of the night. There presents the 70's Disco Inferno and the Special Appearance by The Legend Macho Man at the Centrum area. Disco starts at 10.15pm, everyone get so high when listen to the 70's songs, quite old and classical songs, but I'm enjoyed with those music. After one hour, the atmosphere has increased to the max. The cruise director and crews dressed up with uniform and show their muscular body to us, and here we ladies screamed and shout crazily. Wow!~

CNY Trip - Legend of the Seas - Day 2

Continuing my post...

Day 2 - We are back!! Yes, back to MALAYSIA.. After 13 hours sailing, Legend of the Seas arrives in Port Klang, sending us back to the place we familiar with.

We woke up at around 11am, and slowly have our brunch (Breakfast + Lunch) at the Windjammer Restaurant, located at Deck 9. Then we walked around the portside and played ping pong, felt so fresh after get myself sweat. Afterwards, we joined in the Baggo Tournament at the poolside area. The winner of the game will be awarded a medal from LOS, but too bad, we lose the game.

After the game, I spent my time in surfing internet at the Royal Caribbean Online located at Deck 8. Since we are in Malaysia, I can access internet using my broadband. LOS do provides internet service to all guests, but the charges is extremely high, if not mistaken, $30 per hour. Huh!! EXPENSIVE~

At around 5 o'clock, LOS is preparing to leave Port Klang, it's also the time for us to stop surfing. Then we back to cabin and get ourselves ready to the pool, thought to learn swimming, but know what, I saw a China lady, with very good swimming skill, from her swim suit and everything, she's just like a swim athlete, and look like a national team representative. Oh my god!! I'm stunned and not dare to learn anymore, felt so embarrassed to show my kindergarten swimming skill. Anyway, happy to see her, and really no doubt, there are many talented person from China.

Then, it's time for our dinner, and today is the Formal Day, it's "Captain's Welcome Aboard Reception" at Deck 4 & 5, for all the guests to meet Captain Ryan. That night, everyone is recommended to be in formal for dinner and most of them includes us are well dressed up. Wearing my long dress and high heels up and down, felt so happy, as I'm very seldom wear dress. Myself look pretty and Phin Phin looks handsome. Just too bad the food not delicious at all, so salty, especially the lobster bisque.

After that, it's the show time, today's show presents "The Matinee Idols". It's formed by 3 men, with only singing, so I felt kinda boring of it.

After that, it's Phin Phin showtime, to visit the casino. Both of us play $10, and both of us really had no luck, lose all $20. But this $20 can continued play for 2 hours, so it's worth. Those old people said "风吹鸡蛋壳,财散人安乐", and it's time to go back. On the way back to cabin, we have took some pictures, really boring. Hehe~

简简单单の情人节

今年的情人节，我们到了星期六才庆祝，因为情人节当天彬彬刚从怡保回来，所以没出去庆祝。星期六晚上，我们就去了Ulu Langat 的Fish Farm Thai Restaurant吃泰国餐，整天听人家说很好吃，但是都还没试过，这次终于有机会了。餐牌上有很多好吃的，但是我们才两个人，所以没点太多的东西，下 次要多一点人去吃才行。

我们就点了这一些，泰国餐必吃的。

Yoohoo!! I'm back from my Cruise and Singapore trip during this CNY. Superb relax! Superb enjoy! Superb fun!

This time I'm sailing with Royal Caribbean, with their Legend of the Seas 海洋神话号, to have the 5 Night Spice of Southeast Asia Cruise to these places.

Singapore - Port Klang - Langkawi - Phuket - Singapore

On day 1, we woke up early in the morning to airport, get the early flight to Singapore.. At 8.30, we reached Singapore Changi Airport. From there, we slowly take MRT to Harbour Front Center. After checked-in our luggage, we then walk around at Vivo City and have our lunch before boarding. The boarding time starts at 11am - 3pm, and depart at 5pm. Just to be safe, we reached there earlier.

From the boarding gate all the way to the ships, there are so many crews standby to give help to all the passengers. Before aboard, we have to hand out our passport to the crew, and they will kept it for us until the last day.

Before we aboard, we already know our cabin number. So once we aboard, we can then go to our cabin directly, the stateroom at Deck 3. The smallest cabin of the ship, and without window, but for us, is big enough, just that we wouldn't know it's sunrise or sunset outside.

"Before our guests board their ship, they are issued a SeaPass card that is used to check their identity each time they board and leave the vessel. It is also used to gain access to their cabin, as a form of identification, and to make onboard purchases. The card is linked to electronic data, including the guest's photograph to assist with onboard activities such as verifying the guest's identity when they leave and return to the ship."

After settle down all the things, we move ourselves to Deck 9 & 10, to explore the facilities provided by the ship, also to have some light food at the Windjammers Restaurant. Then we back to our cabin to wait for the fire drill, it's compulsory to all the passengers to get to the muster station for a short briefing.

For Day 1, nothing much to do, have a nap after the muster drill. Then we take bath and go for our dinner at Deck 5, the Romeo and Juliet Restaurant. It's standard meal dinner instead of in buffet style. For dinner menu, there are 5 starters, 7 main dishes, and more than 5 desserts to choose from. The starters and main dishes look nice, but it's taste are too salty. But their desserts is super super delicious, love it!

Since the first day cruising, dinner served was very slow, dinner starts at 8.15pm, and ends at 10.30pm. This caused us missed the Day 1 show. Erm...
