Day 6 - Legend of the Seas + Sentosa Island + Universal Studio Singapore

Our last day, it's time to leave the ship. All guests has been informed the time of leaving, so it won't get messed. For individual guests like us, time to disembark is at 9 o'clock. We woke up early in morning, and slowly prepared ourselves. After claimed our luggage, we then head to our next destination - Sentosa Island.

As we are taking our huge luggage, we then straight away take the train at Vivo City to Sentosa Island, to check-in our hotel at "Siloso Beach Resort". It's a 4 stars rated hotel, which is nice from the interior and exterior as well as the charges, 1 night stay cost of $220 for a superior room.

Rest for a while, we starts to move ourselves to the Universal Studio Singapore, located at the second station, Waterfront Station. Where we can have all the fun here, beside USS, the resorts world was here as well.

The ticket for USS is expensive, even we have 15% discount for Maybank Credit Card, and it's still expensive. Since we are here, for sure we won't miss the chance to have a visit. And who knows, the thrilling and unforgettable experience are waiting for us and the nightmare slowly begins.

There are 7 themes in the park and each theme has its own attractions. Knew that most of the people are going for the Transformer 3D ride at the Sci-Fi City. So, let's go one-by-one. From the entrance, the first theme on the left is "Hollywood", and here, we met the KungFu Panda "Ah Po".

Then we have our lunch at the Hollywood China Bistro before move to the next theme. We had ordered one fried rice with scallop and one pot of Chinese tea, and it costs us around $30, which I think is expensive.

And our next theme, "Madagascar". And a song flashed in my mind, "I like to Move It, Move It". Yes, met Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria. And here, there are 2 attractions, with "Madagascar: A Crate Adventure" & "King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round", and we tried both of it. After that, we met Alex and friends, also the photo section with Alex and Penguins.

Then we move to "Far Far Away". The place to meet Shrek, but we are at the wrong timing. We saw Shrek character when we queuing up for Shrek 4D adventure, after the show, Shrek has gone. We missed the photo section with Shrek, but luckily, we met another cute character, which is Puss In Boots. It's so cute.

After that, we have entered to "The Lost World". This theme is fun and great. Especially the live WaterWorld show, it caught my attention, they do very well with the explosions and thrill. Lucky that we are not sitting at the wet area, or else, we are going to be a "wet chicky".

I love the "Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure" as well, before get into the queue, we well equipped with rain coat and packed all the things inside the plastic bag, where we know the game will get us wet. The end, we are wet too, water coming in all the way of the river raft ride.

Wow~ Here's my nightmare begins!! At the "Ancient Egypt". We put all our valuable thing to the locker and move ourself to this darkness indoor roller coaster. At first, we wouldn't know it's such a thrill, but once we entered the maze, we can't even go out, have to force ourself to move forward. About 45 seconds, we reached the queue station for this roller coaster.

Roller Coaster moving fast and speed up in the darkness space. I'm so afraid of darkness, can't even see what's is in front. So try to close my eye all the way, but suddenly the roller coaster has stopped and move backward. I'm like "Oh my God", because we are sitting at the last roll.. Arrrrrrr.... Freaking nervous and can't even control myself to shout-out.

After the walked out from the darkness, we felt a bit dizzy, maybe we are old and can't stand for this kind of excitement any more. Rest for a while, we move to the next theme, "Sci-Fi City". Both red and blue is waiting for us. HUMAN & CYLON (The Battlestar Galactica)

Both of these are the most killing, we tried it one-by-one. After the game, I vomit, vomit my lunch. It's suffering. Just wonder how's other people condition after playing the game. Do they have the same symptom with us? Dizzy and feel to vomit?

For me, I think not to waste money so I try all the extreme games. But it's really suffered.

After all those extreme, I thought to have a nice one for Transformers The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, but this make me even worst. No doubt, the illustration is great, but the whole ride is swaying. My dizzy make me feel to vomit during the ride. OMG~

I will visit it again, but not so soon, just because I'm scared of vomiting.

CNY Trip - Legend of the Seas - Day 5

Day 5 - At Sea

It's the last day on cruise. A long journey back to Singapore, whole day sailing from Phuket to Singapore, and we are at the sea. We have limited time on board, so we have to get more faster to explore more things during this day. Of course the activity and food.

Today we woke up late in the morning, and today we can have our lunch on board. The same restaurant to have our lunch, at the Romeo and Juliet Restaurant. Since we are not hungry, we ordered only one set of lunch.

After our lunch, we get back to our cabin to do the "Guests Satisfaction Survey" and put the tipping voucher in the selected envelope. Tipping fees has been counted in when we purchased this package, it's just a extra job for us to pass the envelope to the the particular person. No doubt, the waiter and the housekeeping really done well thru out these few days. Thanks to Francis and KeXin (Waiter), Mariam (Housekeeping). Thumb up!!

Since tomorrow we are leaving the cruise, we have to settle all the outstanding payment where we spent these few days. Of course, we don't have any outstanding, as we didn't spend extra money in the cruise, which I think is expensive. It's cheaper in USD, but when it came back to Malaysia currency, it's so expensive.

One thing that Royal Caribbean did more well than Star Cruise which is the passport distribution. LOS tried to distribute the passport one day earlier rather than give it during leaving the ship. Just few second, we can get back our passport, without queuing.

After claimed back our passport, we joined in the line dancing, with all the uncles and aunties. It's fun to learn some line dancing, and now only knew that I'm uncoordinated with my hand and feet. Always dance the wrong steps, and being so sad that even uncles and aunties dance more better than me. How this can be? Sigh~

Well, it's quite boring when we spent the whole day in the ship, really nothing to do, the best for that moment is to take a fresh breathe at the upper deck. Wind blowing with the nice weather. Wow! Relaxing~ And I brought my lil cuties up to the deck as well.

We hangout the whole afternoon in our cabin, watching Reel Steal and One Piece. Phin Phin was so happy with the TV channels, there are more than 10 channels. And tomorrow we will be leaving at 7 o'clock in the morning, and we have to pack our luggage and place it outside of our cabin for tomorrow check out. Luckily we bring a recycle bag, can put in one set of clothes for tomorrow.

Around 6 o'clock, we get ready to the Farewell Production Showtime. Today presents the "Invitation of Dance", starring the Royal Caribbean singers and dancers. After the show ends, the captain and department supervisors came out to give acknowledgement. They really did very well to serve all the guests. Good job~

It's the last day, just to try our luck, before our dinner, we went to casino, we brought a lottery. If we manage to get all the 5 match of numbers, 400 hundred thousand USD is ours. But we don't have such luck, 400 hundred thousand has gone. The money is waiting for the lucky one.

It's our last dinner on board, so we have to enjoy our dinner. We have ordered 3 appetizers, 1 fruit, 1 bread, 2 main courses and 3 desserts for our dinner. And here is it~

CNY Trip - Legend of the Seas - Day 4

Day 4 - Phuket, Thailand(0700 - 1930)

A long waiting day! After 19 hours sailing from Langakwi, we are here in Patong Beach, Phuket. Because the ship is huge, and it can't disembark at port, so LOS has prepared the lifeboats to send us to the dock, it's just taking few minutes from the ship. We woke up early that day, just want to be there early, but it's not a good decision to leave the ship so early, as most of the shop is not open yet. :(

We then walked along the Patong Beach, chartered a Tuk Tuk for THB400 to bring us around. Knew that the Phi Phi Island is famous, but we not going there, as the charges is so expensive. Thought to go for the cheap one, but it's expensive too. Entrance fees for Zoo is THB500/person. I rather use the money to pamper myself with massage.

The tuk tuk driver cum travel guide brought us to a temple, which is free of charge (FOC), can't remember what's the name. After that we asked him to send us to souvenir shop, as Phin Phin want to buy some souvenirs for his superior and colleagues. Since we got no place to go, we asked the driver to drop us at the nearest shopping mall. And here we saw many elephant statue, with different painting. The popular Angry Bird was one of it!!

And for sure we won't missed out the instant food from 7-11, it's so tasty and cheap. And here, I found another soya milk, Lactasoy, as good as Vitasoy. After filling up our tummy, we starts to walk inside and outside the shopping mall. Things sell in Phuket is not as cheap as Bangkok, that's why I love Bangkok so much~

After few hours walking, we go for massage, 1 hour foot massage and 1 hour body massage. 2 hours massage only cost of THB400/person. Confirmed that we can't get this price in KL. And we thought to have a nap during our massage, but who knows, there are renovation on-going just beside the shop. WTF, damn spoil my mood.

7-11 Packed Food and Lactasoy

I loves Thailand, not just because of the massage, it's their food as well, my favorite Tom Yam. This restaurant somewhere nearby Patong Beach, "EuroThai Restaurant" has the great Tom Yam, which it's taste is just nice, not too spicy. And the perfect match with Tom Yam is coconut. Super cooling after having my Tom Yam Seafood Noodle.

Time flies, it's time to get back to the ship. While walking back, we saw this, it's pancake, but this is not the one we have in Bangkok. During our last trip to Bangkok, Pui Kuan has recommended us a pancake, the topping for that is condensed milk, and I prefer that rather than this.

Along the Patong Beach, there are countless beach umbrellas. When looked it, is beautiful, the whole beach side, with the endless colorful beach umbrella. This beach is really nice, no wonder it has attracted many tourists to visit here.

As we are the second seating guests for dinner, we have to get back early, at around 5 o'clock, we already on board. We prepared ourselves to go for the show, before the show, we walked around the ship and saw the crews is lifting up the lifeboat back to the ship. They have to do the clean up before the boat back in place, is to avoid the salt water damage the floor.

Today's show presents "Dynamic Piano Entertainer by Bernard Walz", quite good, but not suit us. After the show, we then go for our dinner. Seems like they have make some adjustment of the taste, it's not as salty as previous day. By the way, I preferred their desserts, and today I have ordered 3 types of desserts. Yummy!~

After our dinner, we go to poolside for party with the liveband. It's DANCING night. At first, I'm shy to join in, but slowly get into the atmosphere, dance with the crews and others. Besides dancing, there is a poolside buffet for all the guests. All foods look yummylicious, but we are so full to have it.

旧古仔的重庆鸡公煲

“重庆鸡公煲” - 一间很好吃的店，就在Kuchai Lama。虽然吃过很多遍了，但是还会再去吃，因为太好吃了，难以忘记的味道，辣得妙~

前几次去都很多人，这次也不例外，但是我们很幸运，去到就有位子了。

每次都是我和彬彬两个人，想要点多一款都不行，因为怕吃不完，分量还算蛮多的，小煲的就足够两个人的份了。这次我们还是选择了鸡-“鸡公煲”，本来打算点吃牛-“牛魔王”，但是不喜欢粒粒状，比较喜欢切片的，所以就吃鸡。由于我不怎么吃辣，就点了个小辣，彬彬就觉得还可以，而我就觉得很辣了。但是下次可以试试中辣，我看一定会辣到飞起来。


除了主角以外，还可以到特定的冰箱选择自己喜欢的蔬菜和配料，做涮涮乐。我就选了金针菇、腐竹、唯一面和黄芽白菜。不只这些哦，还可以选择鱼丸、蟹柳、猪肉丸、海鲜豆腐等等。鸡公煲的秘製汤实在太好吃了，加了配料，简直就是加分，而且味道越吃越浓哦。

下次我就不叫饭了，吃面，唯一面加汤，一流，好吃得不得了。赞赞赞！

CNY Trip - Legend of the Seas - Day 3

Day 3 - Langkawi, Malaysia (0900 - 1730)

Another 15 hours sailing, LOS arrived Langkawi. After having our breakfast, we disembarked to Langkawi at 11am. We went to the shop (T-Shoppe) to rent for a small car, a kancil. It's more enough to fit-in both of us, and the most important thing was, the price is cheap, RM56 for 5 hours rental and insurance. Then we have filling in RM15 petrol for this little kancil. Although we came here more than 3 times, but still not familiar with the road, and here, we have bought a map to bring us around.

Map on hand, our first stop, Langkawi Eagle Square, not even been here before, so this time ask Phin Phin to bring me here. At first, I thought this place will full of people, as it's one of the signature place of Langkawi, but when I was there, head count not more than 10 people, how sad to see this. Why not they do something to attract tourists to visit this place? What a worst, sigh! But we enjoyed with this place, because we having my beloved photo section of JUMPING. Check it out~

And our next stop, Langkawi Cable Car, just want to breathe some fresh air. It's easy to get down to the hanging bridge, but it's tiring when walking along the pathway back to the cable car station. For people who less exercise like me, really killing. It's freaking hot afternoon, so we not going up to the climax of the top station.

Then we go to the nearest supermarket to buy some snacks and sweets. Round-and-round, it's about to finish our 5 hours trip in Langkawi. Then we faster return the car to T-Shoppe and get back to the ship. Time is about 5 o'clock, another 3 hours to go before our dinner time, so we have some light meal at the Windjammer Restaurant.

Today, they have changed the show time, where the show will starts at 7.15pm for second seating guests*. Then we back to our cabin and take bath, prepare to go for the Magic Showtime, this starring The Comedy & Illusion of Master Magician - Duck Cameron. Quite interesting, where he asked some of the audience to join in his magic, and make some jokes to us.

After the show, we go for our dinner. Dinner for tonight is good, especially the dessert, love it so much, it's so delicious. Just that I'm full, or else I'll order one more to fill up my temptation. Thumb up the chef!

And something made our ladies fo wild for the night, which is the party of the night. There presents the 70's Disco Inferno and the Special Appearance by The Legend Macho Man at the Centrum area. Disco starts at 10.15pm, everyone get so high when listen to the 70's songs, quite old and classical songs, but I'm enjoyed with those music. After one hour, the atmosphere has increased to the max. The cruise director and crews dressed up with uniform and show their muscular body to us, and here we ladies screamed and shout crazily. Wow!~
