~2554~ Bangkok-Pattaya Shopping Fun Day 3

Day 3 - Bangkok, Thailand
Half Day City Tour (Temple of Dawn, Wat Arun 曼谷郑王庙, Boat Ride, Jewelry Factory, Bee Factory, Four Face Buddha)

Time flies, the third day of our trip. This day, we have been arranged to join for a half-day city tour, which is included in our ground tour package. We met up with our tour guide Ah Bing at 7.20am, then we go to our first stop, boat ride to visit Wat Arun, is a one of the landmark of Thailand, located at west riverbank of Chao Phraya River. Because we are wearing shorts, so we are prohibited from entering the temple. We just walk around the temple, and here they do have the photo section, which we can wear the Thai National Costume to take photo. Since it's not expensive, I have a try.

When we are inside the boat, there is a lady selling the welcome flower to tourists. At first, thought it's not forcing, but who knows she forced us to buy for the flower. No choice! We bought it! Then we proceed to Jewelry Factory, we have been given a 10% discount voucher for all merchandise, we do use this voucher, but not on the jewelry, we use it to buy for some accessories (belt and necklace). After Jewelry factory, we move to Bee factory, at here, we taste the honey ice-cream, so yummy. And it's raw honey taste good too, just their price are too high, one small bottle cost around 600baht. So we just bought the bottled honey. And lastly, we dismissed at Four-Face Buddha, we saw that there are many believer pray for the good one, we too. :)

At Chatuchak market, it's still the same as my last visit in 2010, hot and crowded. Really can't stand for this hot weather, very difficult to feel the breathe. After half-an-hour, I'm outside the market, to breathe of fresh air. Many people say that Chatuchak can buy a lot of things, but I just bought a pair of shorts, so little.

We met up with Jek Chee and Pui Kuan at the BTS, then we go to Siam Paragon area for shopping. But Siam Paragon are high consumption place, it's not suitable for us, so we changed to MBK, the place I like the most. Especially the massage, highly recommend "Nice Face Beauty & Massage" located at 3rd Floor, MBK. I have visited for twice, and because it's so comfortable, I fell asleep. Phin Phin even snoring inside the shop. Although I'm asleep, but I heard Phin Phin's snoring, it's loud and so embarrassing. Ops!! paiseh~

After a nice massage, we went for our dinner. But our dinner journey is so difficult, use one and half hour to reach to our destination at SamYan. Referred to the map printed, there is one restaurant which is nearby MBK, and we are not familiar with the road, so decides to ask Tuk Tuk to send us there, he firmed that he can bring us to the exact location. But the end, he brought us to the fake Somboon Seafood Restaurant. When we are at the fake restaurant, the Tuk Tuk driver still saying that this restaurant is the one we are looking for, but we also confirmed it's not. F*** him!! Somemore the charges for Tuk Tuk is not cheap, we have pay him for 150baht.

Then we went to the nearest BTS Station to ask about the place, the receptionist guided us to the location which can be reached by BTS. Then we interchanged at Silom Station for MRT, just one station to go to SamYan Station. Walk about 3 minutes, we saw Chamchuri Square, our dinner location is here. And finally, we are here!! What we ordered are the signature dishes from Somboon Seafood. So yummy!!

~2554~ Bangkok-Pattaya Shopping Fun Day 2

A tired day for us

Day 2 - Pattaya-Bangkok, Thailand
Pattaya Floating Market, Platinum Mall

We get up early in the morning as we want to go to the Pattaya Floating Market. It's just nearby our hotel, 5 minutes walk from hotel. Usually, floating market open early morning around 7am, but this market starts at 10am. As we are too early, many shops and paddle boats not open for business yet. So we have to wait for them to open, we walked around the market to seek for our breakfast, luckily, there are a stall open for early business. We have our light breakfast as we know there are so many snacks and food are waiting for us after 10am. Hehe~

While walking around the market, we saw there is a mail box right in front of a shop, where to give the tourists and visitors to post a lovely postcard to their friends and relatives. I didn't do so, which I know it will reach my home in 2 weeks time.

We spent around 3 hours in this floating market, eating and taking pictures. Then we went back to the hotel, prepare for check-out. Since we are going back to Bangkok, we have booked for the taxi to send us back, and taxi will only reach at 12.15pm. Then I tried to ask the reception counter, to delay half-an-hour for our check-out time, but he firm to say that we can't stay inside the room after 12noon. No choice, then we quickly take shower and pack all our things. Know what??!! Sharp at 12noon, the hotel cut-off our electric, where we are still inside our room. Yes! Cut-off.... That time I was like "F***", what services is it. Very disappointed.

Fortunately the taxi reach on time, or we have to wait a long time. We quickly leave this bad hotel. Phew~ Another 1 and half hour car journey to go back Bangkok. Taxi driver directly send us to the hotel in Bangkok, "P2 Boutique". Nice and clean hotel, with good services as well. Thumb up!!

Once we settle down everything, we went to the nearest stall for lunch. Because the menu board wrote in Thai, we don't even understand, so we order the same with the table next to us. Although it's just a small portion, but it's enough to fill our hunger. Its taste good too.

After our meal, we starts to go for shopping, The Platinum Mall. A place to seek for nice blouse, pants and dress. And here, I have bought 3 dresses, 2 short pants, 2 blouses, 3 t-shirts, 1 flat shoe, and 1 high heel.

~2554~ Bangkok-Pattaya Shopping Fun Day 1

Hard to express my feeling right now, really not willing to come back from Bangkok, the shopping paradise. Now it's just the second week of March, but I need to declare bankruptcy for this month, as I've spent more than I expected. :(

Day 1 - Pattaya, Thailand

On the 4th March, Malaysia time 1040 morning, we departure from LCC Terminal. After 2 hours flight, Thailand time 1140, we arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok. And it's time for us to start our relaxing, fun and nice shopping journey. Our first stop, Pattaya. We took the public cab from airport to Pattaya, cost 1700baht (including tips) for one way. After one and half hour car journey, we arrived our destination, "Sweet Love Inn", the hotel we booked early through internet. Looks nice, but not the same as what we see in the website, feeling a little bit of being cheated.

After a short break, we went out for our first meal. Know what? We have our meal at a petrol station, with the delicious packed food from 7-eleven, our best friend during this trip. Hehe :) Then we go back to hotel, after take bath everything, we prepared to go to Pattaya town for Tiffany's Carabet Show. Since it's too early, we go to the nearest massage center, Savanna, to have a nice full massage before the show. It's so cheap, 1 hour Thai massage, cost only 150baht. Really can't get this price in KL.

Tiffany's show starts at 7.30pm, show duration 1 hour 15 minutes, it's quite a nice show, but there have no storyline, just the ladyboy performance, but overall is good to see, as most of the ladyboys are so beautiful and charming. They are really gorgeous, some are even prettier than a lady. After the show ended, of course can't miss the chance to take a photo with them, each photo 40baht. So I have chose the most prettiest among the ladyboy, and Phin Phin has chose the nice body shape ladyboy. Do they look beautiful?

Well, it's our dinner time, we have our dinner just opposite the show hall, we have ordered a pineapple fried rice, tomyam kong, and pizza, but so weird, the pizza served-in delivery services, pizza is inside the box. That's place is more to tourists, so I assumed they can speak English, when we asked them question, they can't even answer us. Until we settle the bill, they can't give us an answer, why the pizza is inside the box. So disappointed, but I can't demand too high. Sigh~

Big Mistake

Why? Why would I made this kind of mistake. Never happened before this. Maybe I'm too sleepy or too excited.

Beginning of the story:-
I know that AirAsia has the RM5 promo during this week, and its travel period is within September 2011 to February 2012. I tried to search for Sabah and wish to go back the next CNY (sounds so fast, as the CNY just past two weeks ago). I searched through Google, found out that 23/1/2012 is day 1 for CNY, it's on Monday. Then we planned to go back on the Saturday, which is 21/1/2012, but the fare is quite expensive, so Phin Phin proposed to go back one day early. Then I update my date to check again the rates. Know what? One day early is more cheaper, depart with only RM10, and return with RM83.

Since it's so cheap, apart from anything else, me and Phin Phin decided to book for this flight time. After settle payment everything, I go back and view my confirmation...... OH MY GOD!!!! The date stated is on FEBRUARY!!!! What happened? I looked at my screen, I'm stunned for few second. How come? As I wanted to book on January 20, 2012, it's JANUARY, not February. I checked again the rates, RM10 promo is on February. Arrrrrh........ I have made the big mistake, I've selected the wrong month for our booking. Why am I so stupid?

Then we got nothing to do, I tried to amend my flight date, but they are going to charge me RM400 for the flight change charges, all together, I'm gonna to pay extra RM800++, it's not worth it anymore. Haihz...... I can't stop on blaming myself on this. My intention is to reunion during CNY, but we have to change our plan, going back on the date we have booked.

Phin Phin thought he has found the best deal of flight, so he SMS his brother the date we have booked, and without telling him that the date is wrong, his brother didn't realize it's wrong also, he has booked the same date as us. Ops.. it's really like "Lai Ye". So sorry!!

Lesson learned: Before making any decision or booking, all things must be checked! (-_-)

我和彬彬都很少庆祝情人节，因为情人节和彬彬的生日只差一个星期，所以都没什么特别的庆祝。今年也不例外，我们照常上班下班，回家吃饭，没在外面吃，因为在外面都会人挤人。今年彬彬只送了我一张卡片，虽然不是什么贵重的礼物，但是只要有心意，我都喜欢！

Last Monday was Phin Phin's 31st Birthday, yup, officially 31st. Since we just back from Sabah on the Sunday, and I don't even have time to prepare a present to him, so just accompany him to Genting (Phin Phin beloved place), and we had a simple dinner at Shanghai 10, First World Plaza.

昨天晚上，我和彬彬去戏院连续看了两部贺岁电影，就因为在彬彬沙巴家那边没有戏院，所以才济着一次过看，分别是《我爱香港，开心万岁》 和 《最强喜事》。两部电影的好笑点都不同，但是真的另到我们的心情变得很愉快。一部是邵氏出品，大制作，另一部确是黄百鸣出品，大牌档制作。叶问甄子丹拍笑片挺有趣的。

如果两部戏的话呢，我本身会比较喜欢《最强喜事》，因为他的笑点会比较多，我们都笑到不停的~ ：）

爱与恨

说到彬彬家乡“沙巴”，真是又爱又恨，在还没过来的时候，恨不得不要来，但是来了以后，又舍不得走。我不喜欢这里是因为很闷，没什么东西做，除了走来走去，无所事事，就是睡觉、吃喝和上网，闷死了，还有就是家婆整天唠唠叨叨的，烦死了。

然而，更加厉害的就是，家婆实在太好客了，她总觉得我们会饿，一直不停的煮。就说今天早上好了，年初二应该吃开年饭，但是还没吃开年饭前，就给我们吃炒面，都不到一下下，就说要开饭了。我记得我8.45才刚吃炒面，在10.15就说吃开年饭了。这会不会太快了，我的炒面都还没消化呢！但是我们大家都知道她是为我们好的！

但是反过来看，我挺喜欢这里的，有新鲜的空气，还有可爱的狗狗。我从小就很怕狗，其实家里的这两只也不例外，一开始的时候，我看到它们在远远的，我已经要兜路走了，但是现在不一样咯，我会跟它们玩，帮它们洗澡。其实它们也有可爱的一面，尤其是它们听到鞭炮声音的时候，他们竟然撞烂厕所的铁门，躲进去，但是由于门缝太小，进去了就出不来，通常都是我和彬彬去救它们的，过后呢，它们就会一直跟在旁边，好像保镖一样，我们走一步，它们就跟一步，逗死我们了。

再过两天，我们就要回吉隆坡了，不知道几时还会回来，但是我们会尽量抽时间回来的。看看彬彬爸爸和狗狗。真的不舍得这里！根地咬~念。

年三十。团圆

由于今年是第一年结婚，所以要回去彬彬的家过节日。今天是除夕年三十，团圆饭当然少不了，我一如往常的，做“大食懒”，等吃，但是我也有点贡献，就是洗碗。

今天一大早就起床了，因为要烧香拜神，平时上班也没那么早，真累。还好聪明的我，一吃完早餐，就回房间睡觉。一觉就下午2点了。这里走走，那里看看，就已经是吃饭时间。真的很不习惯，傍晚6点就开动吃团圆饭了，可能这里的时间比西马快一个小时的关系吧！刚才打电话回去给爸爸，他们还没吃的，真的很想回去跟他们一起吃。在彬彬这里，吃饭没说话的，很静，不到15分钟就吃完了。接下来这几天应该也会很闷！

还好我不是住在这里，因为家婆的规矩太多了，我很难去跟，所以这里听了，那里就忘记了。今年彬彬的姐姐们没回来，所以家里很静，没有小孩吵吵闹闹的声音。现在8点了，都没什么东西好做，长辈们在看电视，我只好上上网等睡觉。唉~

待会要对一对今天买的万字，这里跟西马是不一样的，沙巴这里没有万能和大马彩，只有Toto和当地的两个万字公司。这里的投注都要加上15%的税务，所以不值得买，但是过年嘛，所以就买了。
